Driver

Driver - Cambridge HSSU Hub

Permanent contract, full time. Salary £25,545 per annum. 15 hours per week with 1 Saturday per month (split shift) as overtime. Requires a full driving license with a C1 entitlement (up to 7.5tonnes GVW).

Responsibilities

• Collect and make deliveries by van or car to customers (5.2t vehicles).
• Receive and check deliveries of medical devices from customers.
• Help keep equipment in good working order and report any faults.
• Keep a clean, tidy work environment and identify stock issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and documentation.
• Be flexible with working hours (shifts between 4am and 9pm, Monday Friday with varying times on Saturdays).

Qualifications

• Full driving licence with C1 entitlement (vehicles up to 7.5tonnes GVW).
• Basic knowledge of current driver hour legislation.
• Ideally hold a driver digital tachograph card.
• Comfortable with manual handling, able to move transport trolleys weighing up to 250kg.
• Excellent ambassadoric skills; first point of contact with customers.
