Drillers Wanted - Barrow-in-Furness

Ready to put your drilling skills to work on world class engineering projects? Our client is looking for experienced Drillers to join our team in Barrow on a 12 month contract. Key Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Interpret and work to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select and inspect the appropriate tools and equipment required for drilling and stud welding operations, ensuring they are safe and fit for purpose.
• Verify completed work meets the required quality standards and specifications.

Manufacturing Operations Duties

• Drilling to depth
• Drilling clear holes
• Flat bottom drilling
• Countersinking
• Reaming
• Tapping
• Counter boring and back knifing
• Facing
• Stud welding

Essential Qualifications

• Completed and approved apprenticeship in a relevant engineering or manufacturing trade.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.

Pay Rates (PAYE) Local Candidates Only Within 39 Miles From Site

Standard Days: £20.10 per hour
3 on / 4 off Days: £24.12 per hour
Umbrella rates are also available. Full rate card available upon request.
