Drainage Engineer

We're looking for two Drainage Engineers to join our team in Widnes. Whether you're just starting out in the industry or bring years of experience, we'd like to hear from you. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working across the Knowsley area on a 7-year framework contract. You'll be in a team of two with a Gully driver, taking the lead on various drainage activities, including: CCTV surveys, high-pressure jetting, remedial work, and confined space entry.

We're seeking individuals with strong initiative and work ethic. You'll be joining a company with a robust pipeline of contracts and a commitment to doing things safely, professionally, and with pride.

All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK at the time of application.

Depending on your experience level, your daily responsibilities could include:

• Assisting or leading CCTV surveys of drainage systems
• Installing patch liners and undertaking remedial works
• Lifting and securing manhole covers
• Entering and working in confined spaces
• Maintaining drainage vehicles and equipment
• Plotting drawings and recording site information
• Supporting or leading site teams to complete works safely and efficiently
• Responding to emergency callouts (if required)
• A full UK driving licence
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
• Experience in drainage, civils, or utilities (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience in rail drainage works (desirable)
