Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

Location: Uxbridge - Hillingdon Borough

Salary: £42,000 basic + UNLIMITED Overtime (OTE £50k+)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

My client are a well-established heating and compliance contractor working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations across London and the South East. They look after their engineers - they offer stable, local work, weekly pay, and genuine promotion opportunities. No London-wide trekking, your patch is Hillingdon.

The Role:

We are recruiting for a qualified Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our long-standing contract covering Hillingdon.

You will be carrying out annual gas services, CP12s, breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs in tenanted social housing properties. This is a resident-facing role so a great attitude and customer service skills are essential.

Servicing and CP12s on domestic boilers

Breakdowns, diagnostics and repairs

Boiler swaps / minor repairs where required

Working to Gas Safe regulations and contract compliance

Completing all paperwork via PDA

Requirements:

CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 - Essential

Gas Safe Registered

Minimum 2 years experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer

Experience in Social Housing is highly desirable

Full UK Driving Licence - Clean / minimal points

Happy to work in tenanted properties and deal with residents professionally
