Domestic Assistant - Wylesfield

Salary: £13.45 per hour
Working Hours: 29.75 hour contract
Shift Times: 09:00 - 14:30

You will work as part of a great team and make a difference to our residents by providing an excellent standard of service within the home.

Main Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care.
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families and colleagues; demonstrate good interpersonal and working relationship skills.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
  • Work on your own initiative and maintain a high level of hygiene within the home.
  • Receive full training.
  • Participate in the leadership programme supporting development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.
