Hotel Services Department - Domestic Assistant

Band 2: £26,696 to £28,988 pro rata (plus £1,461 Distant Island Allowance pro rata).

Hours: 6 hours per week, Saturday & Sunday (enhanced pay rates).

Contract: Permanent.

Location

Uist and Barra Hospital, Balivanich, Isle of Benbecula, HS7 5LA.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of cleaning duties maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and high quality service provision.
• Work alongside and support new staff within the working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Achieve Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers within three months of full time employment (up to six months for part time workers).
• Comply with the Code of Conduct.
• Register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
• Unable to claim relocation expenses.
