Job Description

This important role contributes to providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors, supporting the smooth day to day operation of our world class boarding school.

Reports to: Domestic Services Manager and Domestic Team Leader.

Contract: This is a part time, permanent contract. The first three months will be a probationary period.

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, 8.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday, worked over 52 weeks per year (including a 15 minute paid tea break each day).

Holiday: 30 days per annum, plus bank holidays.

Salary: £20,050.20 per annum (£25,019 per annum FTE).

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within your designated area. Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing facilities, maintaining washrooms and communal areas, removing waste, cleaning windows, undertaking deep cleaning activities during holiday periods and supporting the wider Domestic Services team to ensure the School environment remains well presented throughout the year.
