Position: Domestic Assistant
Care home: Edgewater
Location: Wallasey, CH44 7HY
Contract type: Part Time - 28 hours per week (Weekends included)
Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the role

As part of the Domestic Team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Your day to day duties will include:

• Carrying out all daily and weekly cleaning routines, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming.
• Cleaning and tidying designated areas throughout the home (bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, offices).
• Using equipment such as carpet cleaning machines and washing and drying laundry when required.
• Reporting breakages, damage, defects and hazards to management.
• Supporting the promotion of choice, dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant cleaning or housekeeping experience (not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and listening skills.
• Positive, can do attitude and ability to care for residents with respect and dignity.
• Adherence to the values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.
