Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant within our Domestic Services Department based at Ayrshire Central Hospital Site.

This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Hours:

29.5 hours per week.

Worked Monday - Thursday 11am - 5.30pm (with a 30 minute break) & Friday 11.30am - 5.30pm (with a 30 minute break)

What you will do:

Working within the Domestic Services Department you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties which are carried out to a high standard. Full training will be provided.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:

Working within the Domestic Services Department you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on both your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential. Applicants should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment. Priorities can change due to staffing and activity in the North Sector premises, and a degree of flexibility is required. Full training will be provided.
