This is a great opportunity to step into a highly visible and impactful role within our business.
Leading 15 Hospitals in our Northern Regionyou will report directly toourGroup Chief Nursing Officer & Chief Operating Officer. Youwill lead the operational team and Hospital Directors to deliver the Operating Plan and support the creation and execution of the operational strategy. This will include:
- Developing the regions Annual Operating Plan with the Operational Finance team
- Leading the Operational Team -supporting and contributing to the development of a high-performing Hospital Director group who are engaged in the Spire vision and purpose.
- Operational People and Hospital Director talent management
- Delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and P&L management
- Building and maintaining highly effective working relationships with wider central teams to ensure operational voice is heard.
- Leading on delivering group-wide change, transformation and business improvement projects.

To be considered for this position you will ned to demonstrate previous experience in:
- Proven experience of leading a multi-site business with full profit and loss accountability
- A strong strategic and business mind-set
- Proven ability to manage own initiatives and exceed expectations with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing culture
- Proven ability to lead strategic change and programme management experience
- Proven experience of 'Matrix' style management structures. Able to manage and implement in conjunction with theChief Commercial / Operations / Finance Officers the sales forecasting, planning and patient driven sales and marketing processes
- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations across multiple industries
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong influencer - ability to take teams with them on the journey- willingly and well
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal capabilities
