We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as Distribution Centre Operatives on a temporary basis for the next 6 months. If you're passionate about logistics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Position: Distribution Centre Operative
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £11.28
Number of Positions Available: 3
Working Pattern: 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday (half an hour lunch) 37.5 hours per week

Your Mission:
As a Distribution Centre Operative, you'll support daily operations under the guidance of the DC Shift Supervisor and management. Your main focus will be on:

• Ensuring timely outbound goods despatch and accurate goods receipt.
• Maintaining high standards in accordance with warehouse certification and quality directives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively within a designated team to achieve daily operational activities and meet set KPIs.
• organise and complete daily tasks that reflect changing business needs.
• Efficiently receive stock and store it in the appropriate temperature-controlled areas.
• prioritise urgent requirements and ensure timely processing of cross-docked items and customer backorders.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and handling materials throughout the site.
• Accurately pick customer orders based on material specifications, ensuring quality and compliance.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• GCSE pass (or equivalent) in Maths & English; A-level or equivalent is desirable.
• Accreditation in SAP R/3 and SAP EWM Warehouse Management Systems.
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or related fields is a plus!
