The Opportunity

We're delighted to be supporting a prestigious independent optical practice in Beaconsfield, renowned for its luxury eyewear collections, exceptional service, and clinical excellence. This opportunity is for a Qualified Dispensing Optician Manager to join their team on a maternity cover basis for up to 12 months, after this there will be a conversation with the Director about possibility of creating a role for you within the company.
This role offers the chance to combine hands on dispensing with leadership responsibility in a beautifully presented, high end environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the practice team to deliver outstanding patient care and retail performance.
• Dispense premium eyewear and lens solutions to meet each patient's individual needs.
• Maintain and enhance the boutique reputation of the practice through exceptional customer service.
• Oversee day to day operations including diary management, performance monitoring, and stock control.
• Drive branch performance through effective leadership, staff development, and commercial awareness.

What We're Looking For

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered).
• Previous experience working with high end or boutique practices is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a small, close knit team.
• Commercially aware with a passion for achieving performance goals.
• Confident, professional, and committed to delivering a memorable patient experience.

The Package

• Salary: Up to 37,000 (depending on experience)
• Contract: Maternity cover - up to 12 months
• Hours: Full time, 5 days per week including every Saturday
• Supportive and friendly working environment within a respected independent group
