Dishroom Supervisor

- Monitor and supervise daily manpower planning in Dishroom department
- Trains and monitors employees on proper work procedures to ensure maximum productivity all times
- Works with management staff to improve performance of the unit.
- Manages work flow balancing the division of responsibilities amongst employees on each shift
- Maintains all financial goals related to productivity, overtime, labor goals and hours
- Works with maintenance staff to ensure preventive maintenance of machinery according to schedules, reports maintenance and repair issues in timely manner.
- Conducts inventory of products and customer materials to ensure proper usage and minimization of waste.
- Ensures employees adhere to HACCP, FDA, USDA and safety regulations and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strategically and effectively managing the team, ensuring that they are being developed, have direction, and are provided with meaningful feedback
- Planning production in accordance with the daily schedule as well as an overview of all activities carried out in the production area
- Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of working areas at all times for auditing purposes
- Providing reports on productivity and other performance indicators to management
- Taking responsibility for all your actions, support your team, and celebrate successes as a family

Qualifications- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing or food production
- Previous experience in a similar role or experience within a fresh food industry related sector is prefered
- Current or previous labor relations experience is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for high-end cuisine, love for food and motivation to deliver exceptional service
- Well presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success
- The ability to be a positive change champion for DO & CO, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies in order to gain optimal results
- Meticulous attention to detail and data driven with the ability to influence and educate
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit, encouraging them to be at their best
- You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed
- Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family
- Have a great understanding and working knowledge of the whole unit and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach
- Highly proficient in excel with excellent working knowledge of reporting
