Salary: £42,000 - (rising by £1,000 at 12 months - performance based)

What is the role?

• You will be working as a clinical assessor completing Work Capability Assessments (WCA) for people claiming universal credit and/or Employment Support Allowance.
• Assessing claimants health & functional ability via phone or face-to-face appointments using your clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
• Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed.

Essential Criteria:

• RegisteredNurse, OT or Physio
• Minimum1-year post-registration experiencein an adult setting
• NMC/HCPC registered
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
• Confident communicator & report writer - IT literate
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with complex health conditions
