Exciting Opportunity for Healthcare Professionals - Functional Assessor (PIP)

Are you a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional looking for a meaningful career change? We are seeking Registered Nurses (Adult), Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Paramedics to join our team as Functional Assessors.

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Additional Bonus:
  • 5% One off Bonus upon approval.
  • £3,000 One of Bonus upon approval.
  • 10% Annual Bonus scheme.

Location:AYLESBURY- HP19

(Hybrid & Homebasedopportunities available depending on location)

Contract:Permanent - 37.5hrs - Mon to Fri. FTE and PT hours available.

Your Role as a Functional Assessor
  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments at assessment centres or in the community.
  • Engage empathetically to understand how disabilities impact daily life and functional capabilities.
  • Create fair & evidence-based reports to support decision-making for PIP applications.
  • Manage your own schedule efficiently to provide thorough and accurate assessments.
  • Stay updated on policies & participate in ongoing learning.
What You Need:
  • Full registration with the NMC (Registered Nurse) or HCPC (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic).
  • Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in healthcare.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to assess & report findings effectively.
  • IT proficiency & ability to work independently.
  • Compassionate & professional approach to patient care.
