Job Description
Disability Assessor (PIP / WCA) - Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists

Salary: £40,000 - 43,000 + bonus scheme and benefits

Location: Swindon; Hybrid remote roles available across the south of England.

We are currently recruiting for hybrid remote Disability Assessors who would like a role that involves working from home and in the office with no weekends, bank holidays, or long shifts. Join an organisation dedicated to exceptional service and positive change.

Salary Details
  • PIP Disability Assessor (3 assessments per day): £40,000 - £41,500 + Excellent Bonus Scheme.
  • WCA Disability Assessor (5/6 shorter assessments per day): £42,000 - £43,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme.
  • Note: Each role is subject to availability; candidates must be willing to perform either role. Preference for one role may be accommodated if possible.
Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Part-time hours available after full-time training for the PIP role only.

Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 starting for PIP with £1,000 increase after 6 and 12 months; £42,000 starting for WCA with £1,000 increase after 12 months.

Role Overview
  • Conduct assessments: Evaluate claimants' health and/or work capabilities via phone and face to face assessments.
  • Review evidence: Analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
  • Compile reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Training Program

Successful candidates will complete a 12 week comprehensive training program covering:

  • Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations.
  • DWP Guidelines: Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions.
  • Report Writing: Skills for detailed and objective reporting.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year post registration recent experience in a relevant adult setting.
  • Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration.
