Job Description

This position can be based in Armonk, NY, Basking Ridge, NJ, Cambridge, Mass, Uxbridge, UK, or Dublin, IRE. For US locations, this role is on-site 4 days per week and 1 day from home. For EU locations, the role is on-site 3 days per week and 1 day from home.

A fully remote role is not possible for this position.

The Director of Program Operations (POL) is responsible for leadership and strategic management of complex clinical trial programs. This includes overseeing clinical operations, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met according to regulations and SOPs. The Dir POL is part of the Clinical Trial Management leadership team, interacting with senior management, vendors, and study personnel. They are also responsible for line management, including recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of clinical trial staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the success of clinical study teams within programs.
  2. Monitoring program status, communicating progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  3. Providing operational input during study development, including feasibility, timelines, and costs.
  4. Overseeing study timelines and budgets, managing changes proactively.
  5. Reviewing study plans and providing operational expertise during protocol design and study phases.
  6. Driving decision-making and operational strategies to meet study goals.
  7. Managing vendor relationships and CRO oversight.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of industry experience, with 8 years in clinical trial management.

Salary Range (annually): $198,000.00 - $330,000.00
