This is a Permanent, Full-Time vacancy that will close in 13 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

We are looking for an experienced and commercially oriented Director of Product Pricing to lead and manage our pricing strategies across IRIS.

The role involves overseeing strategic pricing initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing structures, and managing pricing operations (with support from a Pricing Operations Manager).

The role will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, product, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve the IRIS pricing governance process and policies.
  • Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze key markets, competitor pricing, and customer segments to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, finance, and marketing to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct research to define optimal pricing for various products.
  • Design pricing strategies for new products and enhancements for existing ones.
  • Support initiatives to migrate customers from desktop to cloud solutions.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Monitor pricing performance and provide insights to the executive team.
  • Drive pricing innovation through exploring new structures and monetization options.
  • Set list prices and manage price adjustments, monitoring achievement and reviewing as needed.
  • Ensure data consistency in the pricing system and pursue continuous improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, preferably in software.
  • Deep understanding of B2B pricing, including subscription and SaaS models.
  • Ability to develop clear value-based pricing propositions.
  • Proven success in implementing profitable pricing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and act as a pricing expert.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with market insight to develop actionable pricing strategies.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
