Director of ProductWe're looking for a strategic and execution focused Director of Product to own and evolve our product roadmap. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of AI innovation, hardware design, and real world application, turning abstract ideas into market ready products. This position requires a hands on, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to lead across ambiguity. You'll be responsible for defining product direction, aligning with internal research and architecture teams, and ensuring our offering is grounded in real customer value.
We will trust you with- Own and evolve the product roadmap for Innatera's next generation neuromorphic AI chip platforms;
- Define product vision and translate complex internal innovation into a clear product scope;
- Align product direction with internal research, chip architecture, and engineering roadmaps;
- Gather and synthesise input from customers, partners, and sales teams to drive strategic product definition;
- Evaluate and prioritise opportunities through business case development and stakeholder alignment;
- Define and manage the full product lifecycle, from concept through development to go to market;
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to shape value propositions, launch plans, and messaging;
- Support competitive positioning and long term product differentiation in target markets;
- Bring clarity and structure to complex, cross functional product discussions;
- Create feedback loops that inform iteration and long term roadmap planning.
- 10+ years of experience in product management within semiconductors, AI chips, embedded systems;
- Background in product ownership in microcontrollers, low power chip design, or neuromorphic computing;
- Proven track record in end to end product lifecycle ownership, ideally with hardware software integration;
- Strong grasp of go to market strategy, including customer value framing and feedback integration;
- Experience working with or close to AI/ML systems (e.g., edge inference, NPUs, sensor analytics);
- Ability to interface confidently with engineering, research, and commercial stakeholders;
- Excellent communication skills, can synthesise complexity and drive alignment;
- Strong problem solving and prioritisation instincts in ambiguous environments;
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, urgency, and resource constraints;
- Ability to extract the right inputs across teams to define a clear, focused product direction.
- Exposure to embedded AI workloads, on chip learning, or energy efficient architecture design;
- Familiarity with productisation cycles in automotive, wearables, IoT, or industrial sensing;
- Experience with customer engagements, roadmap selling, and early stage feedback loops;
- Technical literacy in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or requirements traceability platforms.
