Director of Operations - Sports & Leisure SaaS

Location: Manchester Hybrid Permanent

Reporting to: Managing Director, Sports & Leisure

ClearCourse is a fast-growing technology group with over 45 software businesses and a market leading integrated payments platform. As we continue to scale, we're looking for an Director of Operations to help unify and strengthen operational delivery across our Sports & Leisure SaaS portfolio.

This is a senior operational role focused on building a scalable operating model across four software businesses, aligning Customer Success, Support, Development, and Sales to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive commercial performance.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement a scalable operating model across multiple SaaS businesses
• Provide operational leadership across Customer Success, Support and service delivery functions
• Establish clear governance, ownership and escalation frameworks
• Improve customer satisfaction, retention and lifetime value
• Oversee customer issue management and resolution processes
• Lead organisational readiness for product launches and system changes
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritise customer impacting initiatives
• Identify operational inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide leadership and development for operational teams
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance to align operational delivery with commercial goals

Qualifications

• Senior experience in operations, customer experience, or business transformation roles
• Proven ability to build scalable operating models in growing businesses
• Strong commercial mindset linking service delivery to revenue outcomes
• Experience working in complex or acquisitive environments
• Track record leading organisational change and improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder management skills

Desirable: SaaS, technology, or subscription based business experience.
