Director of Neighbourhood Services

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing Limited (RBH) is the UK's first tenant and employee co owned mutual housing society, with over 12,000 homes throughout the local area. We are now seeking a strategic leader to join us as Director of Neighbourhood Services, reporting to the Executive Director of Customer and Community. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for delivering high quality neighbourhood services that will help us achieve our strategic objectives, and most importantly respond to the needs of our customers. You will lead and develop services which include tenancy management services, income services, independent living services, and independence and wellbeing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop neighbourhood services including tenancy management, income services, independent living, and independence and wellbeing services.
• Drive a customer first culture within the organisation.
• Modernise housing services and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead cultural change and business transformation.
• Contribute to the senior leadership team with strategic insight.
• Engage stakeholders and motivate a team of around 80 colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of leading customer facing social housing teams.
• Experience of modernising housing services and instilling a culture of continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead cultural change and business transformation.
• Resilience and strategic insight required to contribute to senior leadership.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and an inspirational leadership style.
