Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Transformation, Strategy and Enablement
Hybrid Dublin based role - with 3-4 days in the office.
In this role you will define, shape and execute the Infrastructure Transformation Architecture Strategy. You will provide the strategic vision across infrastructure transformation, platform and technology evolution. The ideal candidate will have experience introducing modern operational capabilities, automation, intelligent monitoring, self-healing and infrastructure-as-code, and turning them into measurable business results.
You will work with other IT leaders to accelerate the evolution from traditional infrastructure operations towards modern technology platforms, simplification, automation, AIOps, resilience by design and automated recovery.
The role holder will act as a strategic transformation and enablement leader with a focus on enabling and scaling engineering, platform and architecture excellence. You will work with and partner with the technology area, including engineering and solutions-architecture teams, to drive standards and establish best-in-class practices in the organisation.
You will establish the infrastructure transformation strategic roadmap - including strategies for infrastructure automation, AI-enabled operations, platform consolidation, vendor engagement and proactive resilience, always ensuring alignment to business priorities and outcomes. You will partner with key engineering and architecture areas to establish best practice, engineering standards and improved guidelines and principles for a new infrastructure working model.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate expertise of infrastructure engineering, platform technologies, architecture practices and cloud services. You should be able to outline examples of setting and delivering transformation strategies (from old to new) encompassing cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, operational resilience and technology simplification.
