Current Opportunity: Director of Child & Adolescent CounsellingContract: 1-year maternity cover contract
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid or remote depending on your proximity to our Ealing, London office.
Requirement: Must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, psychology, or related subject.
What you will do:Workplace Options has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Child & Adolescent Counselling. The Director is responsible for managing and providing clinical oversight and supervision for counsellors assigned to the team. This role reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer and involves monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care. Supervision includes educational, administrative, and supportive functions to ensure participants are protected and receive competent, ethical services.
Responsibilities:- Identify and address gaps within the program, providing solutions for enhancement.
- Support the transition of clinical team members to the Pediatric Care Team.
- Develop and implement training and operational documentation.
- Identify training needs to foster high performance.
- Conduct call audits and proactively manage performance issues.
- Coordinate care for high-risk and complex cases.
- Coach and consult on clinical interventions, case management, and integration of the Care Coach.
- Provide case consultations as needed.
- Oversee quality management activities and integrate quality improvement into daily operations.
- Establish KPIs aligned with department and company objectives.
- Monitor SLA's in collaboration with the Dedicated Account Manager, using systems like UCMS, Power BI, and Avaya, and work with other teams.
- Ensure clinical practice complies with local regulations and uphold ethical standards.
- Liaise with local directors regarding location-specific regulations.
- Lead or contribute to global, interdisciplinary initiatives and process improvements.
- Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain skills in crisis intervention and evaluate individual and family progress.
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, psychology, or related field.
- Fully licensed.
- At least three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a counselling or psychology setting.
- Experience working with international organizations.
- Proven managerial experience and ability to manage teams with emotional intelligence.
- Strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strategic planning, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing clinical supervision.
- Global strategic thinking, especially with organizations with a worldwide footprint.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Knowledge of therapeutic methods/modalities.
- Experience navigating legal and ethical regulations internationally.
- Program management and evaluation experience.
