Job Description
Compensation 
£75,000 to £100,000 base pay. May vary with experience and market conditions.
Role OverviewDirector, Enterprise Applications - Lead strategy, operational maturity, and evolution of enterprise applications at Altus Group.
Responsibilities- Oversee critical platforms such as Salesforce, Workday and other enterprise applications supporting commercial operations, finance, HR and service delivery.
- Partner with senior stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and Technology to align applications with business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Drive roadmap planning, prioritisation and governance across the applications landscape, balancing transformation initiatives with day to day stability.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of analysts, developers and specialists, shaping operating model and future structure.
- Introduce scalable processes, governance standards and operational discipline to optimise delivery and risk management.
- Identify and champion opportunities for technology modernisation and AI adoption across the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security and delivery teams to ensure alignment with technology standards and integration strategies.
- Act as a visible strategic leader, bringing clarity, accountability and forward thinking to the enterprise applications function.
- Extensive experience leading enterprise applications, business systems, CRM or technology functions in a complex organisation.
- Strong Salesforce expertise, including governance, delivery, integrations and best practices.
- Exposure to Workday, enterprise business systems or other large scale applications is highly valued.
- Proven stakeholder management skills - ability to collaborate with senior leaders across multiple functions and translate technical concepts into business language.
- Operational and governance mindset - experience establishing structure, prioritisation, delivery governance and scalable processes.
- People leadership - ability to coach, mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams in a continuous improvement culture.
- Adaptability and forward thinking approach - enthusiasm for transformation, emerging technologies and AI.
- Business acumen - capability to assess risk, prioritise and make informed decisions balancing operational realities and long term goals.
