Role Summary The Deal Desk Director will serve as the central commercial advisor supporting global Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure high quality deal execution for CCH Tagetik's CPM software business.In this role, you will own deal governance, pricing strategy guidance, commercial policy enforcement, and end to end transaction support. Key Responsibilities 1. Deal Governance & Commercial Policy Enforcement Enforce commercial policies, pricing frameworks, and discounting approvals. Primary escalation point for non standard and complex deals. Identify risks, inconsistencies, and compliance issues. 2. Pricing Strategy & Financial Analysis Analyze deal structures, pricing models, and margins. Support discount governance and renewal pricing. Partner with Finance on revenue and exception justifications. 3. End to End Deal Support Support deal lifecycle from quote review through contract execution. Shape complex transactions with Sales. Facilitate negotiation preparation. 4. Cross Functional Collaboration Liaise across Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Guide on commercial terms and product bundling. 5. Operational Excellence, Tools & Process Improvement Optimize quote to cash workflow. Support enhancements to CPQ, CRM, and commercial tools. Maintain dashboards for pricing, discounting, and performance. 6. Commercial Readiness & Sales Enablement Deliver training and documentation on deal desk practices. Act as subject-matter expert for deal strategy. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Revenue Ops, or SaaS commercial roles. Experience with enterprise SaaS transactions. Strong analytical and communication skills.
