Job Description

At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest independent consumer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!

Summary Overview

As the Business Development Representative (BDR) Director - Delivery & Optimisation, you will be the strategic architect and commercial leader of our global outsourced sales engine. This isn't just about managing a contract; it's about leading a high-performing, third-party BDR operation (currently based in Egypt) and integrating them seamlessly into Trustpilot's global sales machine.

What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic mix of strategic leadership and hands-on commercial optimisation:

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Act as the primary commercial owner of our outsourced BDR partnership. You'll align their roadmap with Trustpilot's global growth ambitions, identifying new territories or functions where our partners can drive value.
  • Performance & Revenue Optimisation: You own the numbers. You'll define and over-index on KPIs and SLAs to ensure the team exceeds targets in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and sales qualification.
  • Commercial & Operational Excellence: Lead the "business of the partnership." This includes high-level commercial negotiations, budget ownership, and ensuring we are getting maximum ROI from our investments.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: You are the glue between the outsourced team and internal departments (Marketing, Sales Ops, Finance). You'll ensure the Egyptian team feels like a natural extension of the Trustpilot brand, with seamless data flows and unified messaging.
  • Global Quality Control: Maintain the "Trustpilot Standard" abroad. You'll drive continuous improvement in sales coaching, process efficiency, and compliance (GDPR/CCPA) to ensure our brand reputation remains pristine.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide the C-suite and regional leaders with deep insights into outsourced performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations for scaling.
Who you are

You are a commercially astute leader who understands that "outsourced" doesn't mean "hands-off." You know how to motivate a team across borders and cultures.

  • Experience in Sales Leadership, Commercial Partnerships, or Strategic Outsourcing, preferably within SaaS or high-growth tech.
  • Scale Experts: Proven track record of managing large-scale, third-party sales organizations (BDR/SDR/Inside Sales) where performance is tied to revenue.
  • Contractual Savvy: Experience negotiating complex, performance-based commercial agreements.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Expert-level ability to interpret sales funnels and conversion data to pivot strategy in real-time.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Experience working with outsourced teams (Middle East/EMEA experience is a huge plus) and the ability to build rapport across different geographies.
