About the role

In order to further strengthen its commercial structure and market position, ADM Animal Nutrition France is looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead its Complete Feed and On-Farm Mixing activities.

The Sales Director will report directly to the General Manager of ADM Animal Nutrition France and will be an integral member of the France management committee.

Responsibilities:
  • Setting sales goals, strategy, and approach
  • Defining and achieving annual sales targets in collaboration with the management committee
  • Managing sales performance in terms of volumes, turnover, gross margin, and growth rate
  • Leading and developing the sales teams: setting objectives, providing daily support, skills development, recruitment, performance monitoring, customer allocation, and team mobilization
  • Promoting products and services, ensuring technical and marketing support for sales teams and customers
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities with existing and new customers, supporting the commercial process until contracts are signed
  • Managing key customer relationships directly
  • Collaborating with the Pricing team and General Manager to define pricing strategies
  • Working closely with nutritional experts, formulators, and R&D to deliver high-value products and services and bring innovations to market
  • Enhancing the use of commercial tools, particularly
  • Managing the sales budget, tracking performance, and reporting

Your Profile
  • Master's degree in agricultural sciences or from a business school
  • Strong commercial and managerial experience in the agricultural/agro-industry or related business sectors
  • Proficiency in both French and English
  • Travel Frequency: The role will require at least 50% travel time.
