In the context of a temporary replacement for maternity leave, we are looking for a direct buyer (M/F/D) at 100% for a fixed term until December 31, with the possibility of converting to a permanent contract. Your missions: Responsible for a portfolio of products, the buyer is tasked with implementing the defined strategy: researching solutions, selecting suppliers, and discussing conditions based on objectives for cost, quality, and deadlines. They ensure to question, analyze, and understand internal needs as well as the offers proposed by suppliers. They also monitor and analyze their markets, ensuring the competitiveness of our sources of supply. They collaborate with internal services to ensure Supply Chain competitiveness and provide support. They maintain a presence on the ground (trade shows, supplier visits) and work to develop constructive relationships with our suppliers.Management tasks include: drafting specifications, analyzing needs communicated by the requester, identifying the stakes of the need and selection criteria, identifying and qualifying suppliers, analyzing solutions and offers, negotiating conditions with suppliers, following up on needs and performance of solutions and suppliers, and implementing the company process. Ensure the deployment of our market approach and activity, follow up on their markets, stakeholders, trends, and developments to identify risks and opportunities, participate in trade shows, supplier visits, and audits, set up and monitor supplier markets and activities, optimize the supplier panel, monitor supplier performance indicators, ensure the advancement of the number of performing suppliers among validated ones, build constructive and sustainable relationships with our performing suppliers, manage disputes with suppliers, and conduct audits & liaise between departments (production, quality, technical ).Professional and personal skills: Listening and analytical skills (cost analysis) and synthesis, sense of responsibility, proactivity, autonomy, and spirit (ability to make decisions and handle tensions, energy, and tenacity), teamwork, ethics serving the company, its values, and its commercial base, complemented by a degree such as a federal certificate, degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent. Professional experience in a similar role is essential in the industrial and/or metallurgical field, fluency in French with an advanced level of English (minimum B1), German is a plus.
