We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital System Engineer to join our dynamic team who deliver an exceptional servicesourced new technology to enhance patient care, harnessing technology to support our award-winning clinical team and advanced digital maturity
The permanent full-time opportunity working 37.5 hours per week
Salary £37,000 per year depending on experience
You must have rightto work in the UK as we are unable to offer graduate or visa sponsorship, and no visa extensions can be offered for this role.
Main duties of the jobTechnical Support & Service Delivery
Provide high-quality first and second-linetechnical support to internal and external staff ensuring a high level ofcustomer service
Utilise IT Server Management (ITSM) ticketingsystems to efficiently log update and resolve incidents.
Engage directly with end-users (both face-to-faceand remote) to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues acrossservers desktops mobiles and peripherals
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota toensure continuous service delivery for our critical operations
Infrastructure Maintenance & Improvement
Oversee the ITinfrastructure including hardware software and network components.
Providetechnical support and training to employees as needed
Maintaindetailed IT documentation, including procedures and incident logs.
Implement and maintain IT security bestpractices and compliance with UK regulations (GDPR ISO 27001 etc.)
The Digital Systems Engineer will
Take a proactive approach to problem solving taking full responsibility for issues from diagnosis through toresolutions
Act as a strong team player, participating instand-ups and planning sessions to ensure team alignment.
Demonstrate the ability to identify workflowimprovements or suggest best practice fixes for recurringtechnical issues.
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concept to non technical staff

TheDigital Systems Engineer will:

Person Specification General Qualities- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability
- to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Ability to work in team environment
- Committed to Continuous Professional Development
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Educated to Degree level in a Computer Science/IT-related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate are preferred. Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Speciality is considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a 2nd line support position.
- Good knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems Microsoft 365 Active Directory Group Policy Objects and standard enterprise applications.
- Understanding of network concepts (VLANs switching routing) and Firewalls (Fortinet)
- Competent with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with PowerShell or command-line tools
