The job

As a Marketing Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our Rotterdam-based marketing team, collaborating closely with our international team and actively participating in a wide range of marketing activities and tasks. Your primary focus will be on chat marketing, while also gaining insights into other areas of marketing strategy, such as email marketing.

Your goal is to contribute to both the planning and execution phases, learning how to effectively engage with our target audience and nurture potential leads (new students). You'll develop a deep understanding of the market and implement marketing strategies aligned with our business model and target audience to drive significant results.

Working closely with the chat and email marketing teams, your role will involve bridging connections between these two areas and ensuring that all tasks and strategies within each sub-team are aligned. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about marketing processes will set you apart within the team and potentially lead to future leadership roles within smaller sub-teams.

What will a typical day look like

First thing in the morning, you'll align with the team, prepare the day accordingly, analyze the markets, and find potential angles for promotion. You'll also coordinate with the dates of our student events as well as with the active communities students are members of. In this role, you'll be responsible for using mostly chat marketing to promote our events and our student communities. Your responsibilities will be to check all promotional actions that need to be taken, prioritize the ones the target should go based on audience, potential, and marketing angle and then successfully execute the actions.

Responsibilities

• Take part in planning the marketing strategy.
• Work with all sub-teams to ensure good results.
• Identify potential leads.
• Nurture and engage with new leads to make it easier to convert them later.
• Optimize our chat marketing strategies.
