Position Title: Digital Manufacturing Transformation Lead

Top priorities
. Strong Manufacturing OT/IT background with Tech best practices (Data, AI, Automation)
. Technical & practical understanding of manufacturing systems, plant operations and shopfloor environments
. Ability to explain and run digital/data/technology initiatives across MES, automation, and data platforms
. Responsible for the Manufacturing digital upgrade (best practices, capabilities, standardisation across plants)
. Drive improvements in Food Safety, Quality and Compliance through digital solutions
. Focus on cost-effective plant operations, automation, and productivity improvements
. Act as go-to digital partner for Senior Manufacturing Executives
. Consultancy background preferred for influencing senior stakeholders and structuring decisions

Don't apply if
. You do not have hands-on manufacturing/plant experience (only IT or corporate roles)
. You have no exposure to OT/MES/industrial automation environments
. Your experience is mainly Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning (not Manufacturing)
. You have only done delivery/implementation roles without influencing senior leadership
. You are not comfortable acting as a business partner to Plant Directors/Engineering leaders
. You lack experience in multi-site or international manufacturing environments

Location/Remote
. Priority for someone based near Amsterdam

Start date
. August 2026

Contract duration
. 6 months and then the contract turns fully permanent
