Our client, a reputable main dealership in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their service team. This is a prime opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician looking to enhance their career within a manufacturer-backed environment, working with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and receiving comprehensive manufacturer training, including Hybrid and EV accreditation.

Duties:
  • - Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • - Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work to manufacturer standards
  • - Complete Hybrid and EV repairs where qualified
  • - Utilise the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software
  • - Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs safely and efficiently
  • - Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians where required
  • - Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining high productivity and quality standards
  • - Comply with manufacturer and health & safety regulations
  • - Maintain high standards of customer service and workshop efficiency
Requirements:
  • - Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • - Recognised Diagnostic Vehicle Technician qualification
  • - Previous experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or manufacturer-trained Vehicle Technician
  • - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • - Proactive team player with a willingness to support colleagues
  • - Full UK Driving Licence
