Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and test drifves to evaluate performance
  • Complete complex repairs using BMW ISTA diagnostics and Autologic systems
  • Maintain comprehensive service records and documentation as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service, presenting a professional image
Requirements:
  • Minimum City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics, ideally with BMW ISTA knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence with your own toolkit sufficient for vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
