YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for embedding security practices into the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant delivery of applications and infrastructure. You will support an European Institution's IT modernization efforts by integrating automation, continuous delivery, and security controls into cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Platform & Pipeline Engineering : Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) with integrated security gates. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE).
- Security Integration : Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) within pipelines. Enforce secure coding practices and compliance checks. Collaborate with InfoSec teams to align with EP's IAM and data protection policies.
- Cloud & Infrastructure : Deploy and manage workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP using best practices. Monitor and secure cloud-native services (e.g., EC2, RDS, Lambda, Azure Functions). Support multi-region, multi-AZ deployments for high availability.
- Monitoring & Compliance : Implement observability tools (e.g., ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana). Ensure traceability and auditability of code changes and deployments. Provide SBOMs and vulnerability reports in line with EU regulatory mandates.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in IT and between 6 and 14 years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps similar role.
- Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, YAML, Groovy.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode.
- Experience with secure SDLC and DevSecOps frameworks
- Familiarity with EP-relevant technologies such as OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and IAM_2023_Q1 architecture.
- Ability to conduct and analyze security audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Having an analytical mind, great rigor, and a strong sense of collaboration.
- Being strength of proposal with curiosity, thoroughness and pedagogy.
