Brief

My client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to work on a 12-month contract.

Daily Tasks

• Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing software on production systems
• Ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems
• Work within an Agile delivery environment
• Support and implement the DevOps strategy
• Embrace emerging technologies in the Data sector like Snowflake
• Build, release, and configuration management of production systems

Required Skills

• 5 years' experience in DevOps engineering
• Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment
• Strong Scripting and automation skills - Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Basic DB administration experience (Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL)

Technical Skills

• Docker, EKS - Kubernetes, Helm, Argo, Gitlab, Nginx Ingress Controller, AWS (RDS, S3 VPC, Glue), Jenkins.
