Your tasks

• Thanks to you, our customers can bank day and night, whatever the weather, because you are on call to ensure that the lights never go out in our web banking and banking app.
• In Incident Management, you will work with the platform teams to analyze and eliminate operational disruptions and help with the transition of our applications to the cloud to ensure that everything runs securely, stably and smoothly.
• It goes without saying that you also have an eye for automation processes, develop them further with CI/CD pipelines and Ansible in particular and also use your expertise to make decisive progress with our Linux and cloud applications.
• You will become Big Brother for our applications, act as an interface in the development of alerting, performance monitoring and monitoring and observability strategies and implement sophisticated dashboards that allow us to keep an eye on every relevant metric for applications and systems.
• And, of course, you also have a knack for the "nuts and bolts", skillfully coordinating internal and external stakeholders, keeping an eye on governance requirements and operations standards and bringing our applications in line with the latest infrastructure standards.

Your profile

• Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification and relevant professional experience
• Experience in working with Java-based applications, in the productive operation of Unix / Linux as well as OpenShift and in scripting (e.g. Ansible, Python, Bash)
• Practice in the application and web server environment as well as in the use of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and Alertmanager or similar
• Know-how in the areas of ITIL and patch / lifecycle / security management
• Open to new technologies in the DevOps and cloud environment
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach, especially when analyzing errors and solving problems
• Independent, autonomous and systematic way of working and enjoy working in a team
• Communication skills, especially when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Innovative spirit and a sense for sustainable solutions
• Very good written and spoken German and English
