DevOps Engineer with strong RedHat and Ansible expertise required in Sheffield to join a large-scale enterprise technology environment for a long term contract offering excellent rates.

Key criteria

RedHat, Ansible, Python (including REST API development), RESTful API development, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub, Linux and Windows operating systems, Virtualisation platforms, Bash and PowerShell Scripting, Secrets management tools
Design, develop, and enhance RESTful APIs
Develop, manage, and optimise Ansible playbooks, templates, and roles using Ansible Automation Platform
Automate operational processes across RedHat Linux, Windows, and virtualised platforms
Implement secrets management using standard enterprise tools
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell
Collaborate with agile delivery teams, architects, and product owners
Ensure automation solutions meet compliance and audit requirements
Agile methodologies (JIRA & Confluence),
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
