DevOps Engineer

Working with a global financial services organisation who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help deliver a high-profile project.

DetailsLocation - London Hybrid - 3 days / week in officeDuration - Initially 6 monthsRate - £650-£750 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Skills and Experience Required

• 10+ years of experience in a similar DevOps engineering role
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EKS (Kubernetes), is a must.
• Proven expertise in cloud deployments, architecture design, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java).
• Deploying and managing Java Spring applications using Maven.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally, financial services experience or investment banking
