DevOps Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience on mission-critical platforms and exposure to Samsung MCPTX or similar solutions. The role involves supporting the deployment and operation of software applications and components within a virtualized infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance. The position is remote with occasional travel to London and is on an initial 12-month contract inside IR35; eligibility for SC clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment and operation of software applications and components within a virtualized infrastructure.
• Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical communication platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed systems and networked applications.
• Participate in DevOps practices and tooling to enable CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting complex software systems in production environments.
• Familiarity with virtualized infrastructure, particularly VMware.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, automation).
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and networked applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with mission-critical communication platforms (e.g., MCPTT, VoLTE, IMS, Push-to-Talk).

Contract and Location

Fully remote with occasional travel to London. Initial 12-month contract. Inside IR35. Eligible to go through SC clearance.
