DevOps Engineer

We're hiring a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to help scale the infrastructure behind our growing fintech platform

Our fintech rocketship is taking off - and we're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build and manage the cloud infrastructure that powers our product. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our platform is secure, scalable, and high-performing as we rapidly grow our user base and roll out new features.

You'll be joining at an exciting early stage, meaning you'll have real ownership over how we deploy, monitor, and automate our systems - and a direct impact on the stability and velocity of our engineering team.

We're remote-first but have office spaces in London - you can work remotely, hybrid, or in-person.

What you'll be working on

Design, implement and maintain infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable and fast deployments (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)

Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK

Monitor system health and performance, and respond to incidents or performance issues

Automate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and backups

Support security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning

Collaborate closely with backend, product and design teams to streamline workflows and developer experience

What we're looking for

Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture

Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform preferred)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)

Solid understanding of system/network security, IAM, VPC, and secure cloud configurations

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Sentry)

Experience with Postgres, Redis, and scalable backend systems

Bonus: Exposure to fintech or regulated environments, GDPR/data compliance, or SOC2 setup
