DevOps Automation Expert

DevOps Automation Expert - 6 months contract + - hybrid - Eindhoven, Netherlands

We're hiring a DevOps Automation Expert to join the Automation Services Team at a global semiconductor company. The team's mission is to reduce manual IT work by creating smart, reliable automation solutions that support teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for IT systems
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Write and manage scripts, mainly in PowerShell (Python is a plus)
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify automation opportunities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation workflows
• Document solutions and share best practices across teams
• Support the shift toward zero-downtime, self-service infrastructure

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of IT experience
• Strong expertise in Windows OS, virtualization, and Active Directory
• Solid scripting experience with PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Ansible
• Familiarity with Python, batch scripting, or other scripting languages (a plus)
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Based in the Netherlands and available to work at the Eindhoven High Tech Campus
• Passion for automation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
