XML International is partnering with a prestigious Investment Bank to find a highly skilled Python Developer to join their Technology team in their Paris Office. If you're a seasoned developer with expertise in Python, microservices, and cloud technologies, this is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a global financial institution.

Location: Paris - some hybrid working may be available

Contract: Temporary (12 months) with potential to go permanent

Experience Level: 3+ years

Education: Bachelor's Degree required

Key Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Python applications
• Work with microservices, APIs, and authentication protocols
• Optimize performance, manage concurrent programming, and handle large-scale data processing
• Collaborate with local and global teams in a fast-paced environment

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Python and its ecosystem
• Knowledge of data processing tools (Polars, Pandas, Numpy, Dask, Spark)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL (Mongo), Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Prometheus)
• Investment banking experience, cloud exposure, and risk management knowledge would be highly advantageous
