About the Role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Leiston. This is a hands-on, onsite role requiring SC Clearance and a full UK driving license. You'll be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity across multiple customer sites within a 25-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networks, applications, software, hardware, VPNs, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage incident queues and provide VIP user support
- Monitor and respond to incidents via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
- Build and deploy workstations (Laptops/Desktops) with approved images
- Provide Tech-Bar support and manage IT desk moves, training/meeting room setups, and loan laptop logistics
- Handle hardware asset management, CDM, and device retirement/disposal
- Support Active Directory group management, account unlocks, and password resets
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and technical manuals
- Travel between buildings and nearby sites using a provided site vehicle

Key Skills & Experience

- Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Managed Desktop environments
- Experience with Starlink satellite network devices, iPhone/iPad configuration, and Azure portal user management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams admin portal, Office apps, SharePoint, and cloud printing
- Familiarity with Intune administration and conference room device support
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks
- ITIL certification or process knowledge preferred

- 100% onsite role at Leiston
- Travel required within 25 miles
- Occasional out-of-hours work may be required (with prior approval)
