Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for a Design Services Manager to join our Waste Infrastructure Design team based in Coventry or Shrewsbury.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for delivering the Waste Networks design programme, writing service orders, managing and delivering these service orders, and also overseeing Outline detail design schemes.

You will play a key role in leading and managing the project team and project lifecycle (from business case approval to design completion), ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will scope and create project plans with input from the framework consultant, and perform the role of NEC Service Manager (or parts of it) when delegated by the Design Manager (Delegation of Authority to be confirmed).

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

Ideally, you are either degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline or a qualified Project Manager with the APM (Association of Project Managers) or working towards these qualifications.

You will be a forward-thinking and innovative project manager capable of managing multiple capital engineering and construction projects. Experience managing NEC projects, with a proven track record in cost planning, management, and budget responsibility, is essential.

You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills. Building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds is important, as is a relentless drive for continuous improvement, innovation, and anticipating challenges.
