Design Manager (Electrical)

As the Design Manager - Electrical, you will:

Responsibilities

• Support Electrical Design Management for our MEP and FM Capital Works projects.
• Support tender applications and PCSA periods. Act as a focal point to disseminate lessons learned from other projects and encourage standardisation of approaches. Ensure all Skanska minimum standards are met at the design stages.
• Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
• Promote effective Design Management processes and use of CDE platforms through design stages and project delivery.
• Co-ordinate design reviews with other subject matter experts in OE/Enviro/H&S/CDM/Fire etc.

Qualifications

• Expert understanding and experience of Design Management.
• Expert understanding and experience in BS th Edition.
• Good understanding of Building Safety Act and Building Regulations.
• Beneficial if individual is chartered or working towards chartership.
• Working Knowledge of HTM 06 and JSP.
