Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Design Manager - Architectural Metalwork will involve:

• Design Manager position dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades
• Producing general arrangement drawings (GA's) and 3D models from engineer's designs
• Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and Engineers in order to obtain any required information
• Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings
• Work closely with production team and design engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication
• Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £10m

The ideal applicant will be Design Manager - Architectural Metalwork with:

• Must have2D and 3D CAD experience
• Ideally have fabrication design experience and/or experience dealing with steelwork, metalwork, balconies, architectural metal, staircases, balustrades, handrails etc
• Capable of liaising with internal departments and customers
• IT literate (Microsoft office)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
