Design Engineer, EU

About the Role

Engineers at Ashby tackle our most challenging design problems and help others improve their designs by expanding and enhancing our in-house design system and consulting on bespoke work. We build solutions that empower talent teams with intelligent, powerful technology.

Responsibilities

• Tackle challenging design problems and consult with engineers to improve design quality.
• Redesign and optimize our mobile web app, from customer research to implementing new flows in our design system.
• Create flexible, composable component libraries that enable other engineers to build custom features.
• Improve information hierarchy and scannability in interfaces so recruiters can quickly parse candidate assessments.
• Research problems, write product specifications and wireframes, and implement end to end solutions inside our TypeScript/React stack.

Technology Stack

TypeScript (frontend & backend), React, GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, Redis.

Compensation

Compensation Range: €141K - €226K
