Position

Electrical Design Engineer - Energy, Utilities and Renewables (Dublin office)

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers with designing new electrical systems or components for various applications.
  • Conduct tests on electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards; analyse test data and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
  • Support engineering teams with managing electrical engineering projects, including preparing reports, creating schedules, and assisting with cost estimates.
  • Work on designing and implementing control systems.
  • Contribute to projects involving power generation, transmission, or distribution systems.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of renewable energy technologies.
  • Implement and comply with environmental, health and safety programs.
  • Manage contractors.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (Honours Bachelor or higher) in Electrical, Energy Systems or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above.
  • 2 4 years post graduate experience.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good academic record.
  • Full clean driving licence and own transport required.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
