Senior Design Engineer - ROV Tooling

Aberdeen Mon-Fri, 37.5 hrs £55,000-£60,000 DOE + OT

An award-winning global Remote Intervention specialist is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join its fast-paced engineering team. This is a key role focused on the design and development of standard and bespoke ROV-deployed tooling, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

Key duties:

• 3D concept modelling and detailed manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks)
• Mechanical design calculations & FEA
• Design to international standards (BS8888)
• Technical documentation, manuals & test procedures
• Cross-functional support across engineering, projects & operations
• Supplier liaison, quotations & occasional site visits

What you'll need:

• Proven ROV / ROV tooling design experience (essential)
• Strong mechanical design background with hands-on understanding
• Skilled in 2D/3D CAD, GD&T, hydraulics & FEA
• Self-motivated, organised and confident communicator
