Design & Technology Teacher - Secondary School

Location: Liverpool

Milk Education Liverpool is working in partnership with a forward thinking secondary school to recruit a passionate Design & Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and committed teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons, encouraging creativity, problem solving, and technical skills in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high quality Design & Technology lessons
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience desirable)
• Ensure safe working practices within workshops and classrooms
• Assess, track, and report on student progress
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school
• Strong classroom management and organisation skills
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures in D&T settings
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and student focused
